BioSo! I've been telling myself that I need to fill this space out for going on three years now...and even now it's only half-assed. XD;
Hello there. Name's Allie, nice ta meetcha and all that. Currently I'm23 24 years old, working at JoAnn Fabrics (because tech support sucks and needs to GDIAF) finally going to school again, and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. My overarching goal has been to take over "the world" since I was about twelve, though now that I've started playing the .hack games, I'm not sure I want to do that. The World might eat me.
Lame jokes aside, I currently have a quasi-plan of action to become apublisher and/or literary agent history teacher. Current goal: To go into costuming with a Bachelor of Arts in History/Humanities :/
I tend to update sporadically, as my attention span allows for good intentions (the post will be all but written in my head), but massively fails at the follow through (something distracted me). I have mild OCD, which doesn't help things much.
My current fandoms include, but are not limited to: Shin Megami Tensei (mainly Digital Devil Saga and Persona 3 & 4), Kingdom Hearts, Hunter x Hunter, Good Omens (and other Neil Gaiman works), Detective Conan/Magic Kaitou, Saiyuki, GetBackers, Fullmetal Alchemist, Petshop of Horrors, Howl's Moving Castle (any of Miyazaki's works, really), xxxHolic, Let Dai, Rebirth, Gundam Wing, Animorphs, Boondock Saints, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tales of the 500 Kingdoms, Pirates of the Caribbean, Stargate SG-1, Preacher, .hack, FFXII, and Fushigi Yuugi. I'm missing several, but my memory was never all that great. Ask me tomorrow and I'll give you an entirely different list. I also have a noted weakness for crossovers of any kind, as long as they are presented in a reasonable fashion. Same with AUs. My 'ships have no regard for gender, as I like het, yaoi/slash, yuri/femmeslash, and threesome fics. Don't like? Deal.
I am a recurrent staffer at several Anime Conventions across the country. Usually Security or Registration, my list currently includes Ohayocon, Matsuricon, AKon, Anime NEXT, and Otakon. More come and go as the opprotunity arises, but those are the most steady of the bunch. I also cosplay when I get the chance, having taught myself both hand sewing and Crewel style embroidery.
...And I've run out of things to say about myself at this point other than the fact that I'm a chronic insomniac and a walking genetic disorder. The latter of which doesn't get mentioned all that often. ^^
